Kitimat Snowflake Senior Centre
The Kitimat Snowflake Senior Centre provides a stimulating and inexpensive opportunity to share a wide variety of educational and recreational activities, services, programs and special events with other retired people.
Some special events include: - Pancake Breakfasts: Soup & Sandwich lunches: Afternoon Teas: Pot Luck Suppers: Seniors’ Week Celebrations: Summer BBQ: Christmas Dinner & Dance (always a sell out). Arts & Crafts: Gardening: Fitness classes: Choir: these and more are all part of the Centre’s Recreational activities.
Members may use the 4 computer work-stations, the secured wireless internet service or sign up for lessons.
The Senior Centre works in partnership wih the local high school ie Computer Learning Programs and also with the local Kitimat Public Library hosting sessions such as the Investment Club and Movie Galary.
